Our Story
Our firm was founded by Brett Bucher who, after many years of working for a large brokerage firm, felt driven to take a better approach to wealth management.
He wanted to build not only a firm, but also long-term relationships with clients.
He wanted to help others achieve financial security for their families.
He wanted to provide advice solely driven by client needsand to transcend the world of sales commissions and brokerage firm business development goals.
He wanted to work with select clients as a partner in helping them achieve financial security.
He wanted to empower clients to take control of their financial lives, rather than letting their finances control them.
Unable to find all of these components in a single firm, Brett decided to create his own.
Brett founded Bucher Wealth Advisors with a mission of providing families with the highest quality financial advice that is designed with only the client in mind, free from Wall Street bias, commissions and proprietary products. Brett’s mission is to support all aspects of his clients’ finances, so they have the freedom to focus on their families.
Brett believes the key to achieving financial freedom is having a comprehensive plan in place. Through his experience, he has learned that too often people let their finances influence their decisions and dull their dreams for the future. Brett empowers clients to take control of their finances in order to achieve their personal financial goals. To do so, he develops custom, goal-based financial plans that incorporate investments, insurance, estate planning, taxes, education planning, retirement planning and more.
Prior to founding Bucher Wealth Advisors, Brett spent 12 years as an advisor at Merrill Lynch. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designations.
Brett lives with his wife, Jessica, and two daughters, Nina and Noelle. He enjoys coaching his kids in softball and soccer, playing golf and tennis, and watching the University of Colorado Buffaloes play football.
